12 June in Bydgoszcz saw the second business meeting of the campaign, Bydgoszcz Open to Outsourcing.
During the conference, the city authorities presented a city development strategy rested on modern business services and encouraged a discussion on the potential of the local BPO market. The event was intended for entrepreneurs, investors and institutions focused on the development of services for business and seeking the best locations for this type of outsourcing facilities.
The discussion on Bydgoszcz’s strengths in this specific business environment brought together the representatives of leading Poland-based BPP companies, such as: Alcatel-Lucent, Atos, IBM, HP, and Xerox. “The panelists are reasonably objective in their approach to the subject,” says Wiktor Doktór, president of Pro Progressio Foundation. “I am sure that the participants of the event, perhaps currently considering a new location for their outsourcing centres, received a hefty dose of information that should help in their further decision-making,” he added.
The conclusions of the discussions during the Bydgoszcz Open to Outsourcing event will be published in a special business report. The report will be advertised internationally, including at some of the biggest European investment fairs EXPO REAL in Munich, Germany.
