The second edition of International Forum for Home Appliances Producers will be held on the 15th of May in Rezydencja hotel in Piekary Śląskie. After last year’s success, which resulted in creating a possibility for knowledge and experience exchange between producers, distributors and home appliances experts, organizers invite participants to further discussion about chances and challenges for the sector on the Polish market.
International Forum for Home Appliances Producers is a project initiated in 2013 by Müller – Die lila Logistik Polska. “Polish home appliances sector holds a very strong position in Europe and it is still getting stronger. We believe that cooperation between various groups of the market will influence effectiveness of production and distribution of home appliances products, and will improve quality of service on every step of the supply chain, as well as contacts with end-users”, says Tomasz Rączka Operations Manager Müller – Die lila Logistik Polska – Value Added Logistics Sp. z o.o.
This year’s edition will be mainly dedicated to creating a positive image of Polish home appliances sector not only in Poland, but also outside of country. “Discussion is a road for development, and it is crucial especially in Poland, because home appliances products may be considered our national brand. More than 80% of the European market is located in Poland, where production’s growth oscillates around 9% a year. Let’s talk about how doing our job even better”, encourages Anna Polak-Kocińska, vice president of board at Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency.
What makes Forum for Home Appliances Producers stand out even more is, according to last year’s participants, looking at the topic from various perspectives. Last year’s edition was attended by representatives of local authorities, special economic zones, home appliances producers, transport companies as well as economists and financial market analysts. This year organizers hope to engage even stronger foreign representation in panel discussions.
